Prima's Time Traveler's Memories Altered File Folder Journal / Mini Album Combination

I hang my head in shame and confess that I have neglected my blog and haven't posted in awhile. However, I have been creating! I have a few things I would like to share so hopefully I can get some posts done and catch everyone up with what I have been creating.

For this post I have an altered file folder journal / mini album combination featuring Prima Marketing's Time Traveler's Memories paper collection. The pages are made using manila file folders and chipboard is used for the front and back cover. Here are some pictures:
Some details about the file folder journal:
*Height: 6 3/4", Width: 5", Depth: 2 3/4"
*7 signatures that are hand sewn to the spine using the 5 hole pamphlet stitch.
*Lined journaling pages throughout the book. Total of 60 (120 front and back)
*Fabric ribbon tie
*Metal corner protectors for the cover
*3 top loading pockets that include a photo mat in each
*Flip tags inside the album with pockets on the inside front and back covers.
*Edges distressed with walnut distress ink
* Handmade tassel
* Faux leather covers the spine preventing cracking and tearing from opening and closing the album over time.

A couple of inside views:

This is a 2pc set with the second book being a waterfall mini album.

Some details about the waterfall album:
* Height: 6 1/2", Width: 5 1/8", Depth: 1 1/4"
*2 waterfalls with 13 mats each for a total of 26 mats for placing photos or journaling.
*Handmade tassel
*Hand dyed seam binding ribbon that keeps the waterfalls in place when not in use
* Faux leather spine cover
* Metal corner protectors for the cover
* Metal chain for keeping album closed when not in use

 Both books and all their pages can be viewed on my you tube channel:
I hope you enjoyed seeing my creation. It is currently listed in my etsy store. You can find a link to my etsy store in the sidebar.
