Magnolia Down Under Challenge 27 / Christmas Card or Decoration
Whew.....I'm finally back! Been awhile since I last posted. I've been sick, had oral surgery....just has not been my month for card making. Hoping that is changing now but with the holidays fast approaching I am sure that will also keep me busy. I'm joining the girls "down under" for the first time at Magnolia Down Under for their challenge #27 which is for a Christmas card or decoration. If you haven't checked out their challenge blog and you love Magnolia / Tilda, then you need to check them out for fun challenges and lots of inspiration.
I would also like to give credit for the layout of my card to Sketch Saturday. This is from their sketch last week and I was unable to complete a card in time for the challenge deadline but I still wanted to use the sketch. You can find the sketch HERE and see what others also did with it.
Supplies Used:
Image: Magnolia / Tilda
Ink: Memories
Printed Paper: Christmas Mint by S E I
Cardstock: Bazzill
Tools Used: Spellbinders Nestabilities, Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and Martha Stewart snowflake punch
Embellishments: ribbon by Offray
Techniques: Image colored with Prismacolor color pencils
Completed card size: 5 1/2" square
Thanks for stopping by!
Oh no, sorry to hear you've been busy with non-fun stuff. I've missed your posts. Hope things are settling down & you have more time for crafting. Such a cute card!
ReplyDeleteYea!!! I'm glad you finally got to post a card. I really like that sketch too, but I don't seem to be able to get to any challenges anymore. I also love this Tilda - I didn't like the image at first, but the more I see it, the more I like it. Your coloring and paper choices are pefect as always. Very cute card!
ReplyDeleteOh so cute. I love the sketch you used with it. Great image and wonderful colouring. Thanks for joining us at MDUC.
